The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia lies at the heart of the Arabian Peninsula in the Middle East surrounded on one side by the historic Red Sea. It is the largest state in Western Asia by land area and the second largest in the Arab world. Also known sometimes as the birthplace of Islam, the country is considered to be the religious hub for Muslims comprising of the two holy mosques known as Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabwi.
